Email Setup for Internet Explorer 4
Requirements
You will need the following information.
- Internet Explorer 4x for Mac
- Your login ID (user name) ex: (joeuser)
- Your password
Double-click the Internet Explorer
4.0 icon.
From the menu bar click Edit
and select Preferences.
Under Web Browser click the
Home/Search link.
In the Address text box, type
http://www.nethere.com.
In the Organization text box, type your company or
the company you work for.
Note: This Information is not required.
Under E-mail click the General link.
In the Real Name text box, type your name.
In the E-mail address text box, type your dial-up username
immediately followed by @nethere.com
For example: username@nethere.com
In the SMTP Host text box, type mail.nethere.net
In the Account ID text box, type your username.
In the Mail Host text box, type pop3.nethere.net.
Select POP3.
In the Address text box, type http://www.nethere.com
In the password text box, type your dial-up password.
Click
the OK button to close the window.
